Manage notifications and ringtones
Control call, chat and voicemail alerts.
On your phone Go
- Make sure notifications for Communicator Go are on in your phone's settings.
- In the app, open Settings to choose a ringtone. A silent ringtone is available if you only want vibration.
- Mute individual chat conversations you don't need alerts for.
On the desktop or web Next
- Open Settings and go to Notifications.
- Choose which events alert you: calls, chat, voicemail, SMS, meetings.
- Allow notifications in Windows or macOS, and in your browser for the web app.
Note
Your computer's own focus or Do not disturb mode can hide Communicator notifications. Check it if alerts stop appearing.
