Park and pick up a call
Put a call on a shared parking slot so anyone on the system can pick it up.
Parking is like putting a call on hold where everyone can reach it. It's handy when the person you need is away from their desk.
Park a call
- During the call, choose Park.
- Note the slot number the app shows, for example
701. - Tell your colleague the slot number, by chat or over the overhead paging system.
Pick up a parked call
- Open the dial pad.
- Dial the slot number, or pick the call from the parked calls list if your app shows one.
- You're connected to the caller.
Note
If nobody picks up a parked call within the time your system allows, it usually rings back to the person who parked it.
