Blind transfer
A blind transfer sends the call straight through without speaking to the other person first.
- During the call, choose Transfer.
- Enter the extension or number, or pick a contact.
- Choose the direct (blind) transfer option. The call leaves your device.
Attended (supervised) transfer
An attended transfer lets you introduce the caller first.
- During the call, choose Transfer and pick the supervised option. The first caller goes on hold.
- Talk to the person you're transferring to.
- Choose Complete transfer to connect them, or cancel to return to your caller.
Tip
To hand the call to someone who isn't at their desk, park it instead and tell them the slot number.
