Install Communicator Go on your phone
Download the mobile app on iPhone, iPad or Android and allow the permissions it needs.
iPhone and iPad
- Open the App Store.
- Search for Communicator Go and tap Get.
- Open the app once it has installed.
Android
- Open Google Play.
- Search for Communicator GO, or use the link in your welcome email, and tap Install.
- Open the app once it has installed.
Allow permissions
The first time you open the app it asks for a few permissions. Allow them, or calls won't work properly:
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
| Microphone | So the other person can hear you |
| Notifications | So you're alerted to incoming calls, chats and voicemail when the app is closed |
| Contacts (optional) | To show names from your phone's address book |
| Camera (optional) | To scan the sign-in QR code and use video in meetings |
| Bluetooth / nearby devices (Android) | To use Bluetooth headsets and car kits |
Tip
On Android, also exclude Communicator Go from battery optimisation so incoming calls arrive reliably. See Calls don't ring on my phone.
